In June 2022, the aluminum carbon FZ slagline ladle shroud used on site has a normal service life of 4h, extreme erosion (breakage) of 5h, and steel grades Q235 and Q235B
The GZ and FN ladle shroud we used didn’t last the expected 5-6 hours. Users reported that the GZ lasted 4-4.5 hours, and the FZ typed lasted 4 hours. We then tried the ZA (10-piece zirconium carbon slagline) typed and the FC typed (2-piece aluminum carbon slag) ladle shroud. (We didn’t track the FC cable on-site, so we don’t have any data)
On October 24, 2022, 12 pcs of 680mm length ladle shrouds were formed, using slagline ZA, inner liner FN, and body RLT-F. On-site tracking was conducted on April 13, 2023, and the zirconium-carbon slag line can be used for 11 hours.
