the monolithic stopper rod, the ladle shroud, and the submerged entry nozzle—are essential refractory materials used in continuous steel casting. They primarily serve to protect the casting process (ladle shroud and submerged entry nozzle) and control the flow of molten steel (stopper rod).
Tundish stopper is an essential equipment in continuous steel casting that regulates molten steel flow from the tundish to the mold. Having the capability to provide accurate and stable control, it ensures consistent casting conditions, preserves product quality, and assists in the efficiency of the whole line.
The steel plant produces 3.4 million tons of steel annually, but it is currently unable to produce at full capacity. The slab workshop has 4 electric furnaces, 4 refining LF furnaces, and 3 2-machine 2-stream slab continuous casting machines. 200-ton ladle and 25-ton tundish. T
